Testimonials
“Rockmen Apprenticeship Program has been a blessing and a great foundation for me as I started my journey back into the workforce after being incarcerated for 12.5 years. I have learned many new skills (excavating, cement mixing, texturing, staining, and teamwork) that I can apply in many construction trades, and I have had a great mentor in JePierre. This program gave me a chance when no one else would.”

“At Rockmen Apprenticeship Program I have learned a good trade and can earn a decent living. JePierre takes his time teaching us not only a trade, but also teaching responsibility. I am no longer hopeless. I have learned that I can have a great life. Thank you JePierre for believing in me. This program has changed my life.”

“Rockmen Apprenticeship is a program that gives a foundation of being a stronger person inside as well as learning a trade. Association with like-minded people gives me the resolve to continue in my goals and help others do the same. If a man of 71 years can keep with men half his age and even younger, I challenge others to train with Rockmen for support to learn how to reach their goal.“

“My name is Michael, I’m Native American, and also an ex-con. I have been blessed and very fortunate to be involved with Rockmen Apprenticeship program. Through it, I have been given counseling and a job opportunity to learn rock masonry.”

“As an apprentice in Rockmen, I have learned a lot in my short time being an apprentice, from building in construction to rebuilding in my life. JePierre and the crew have offered much insight into the ins and outs of the construction field. Being the youngest crewman, they have helped me understand what it means to be “a man” in today’s society. Being a Rockman is more than being a rock mason, it is about the love and passion for life and God to as many people we can reach through our art medium.”
